AFCON 2027 tickets are not on sale yet. CAF has not announced the sale date, prices or official ticketing website. Organisers say a new portal will make it very hard for anyone to buy more than two tickets, to stop touts. Until CAF announces official sales, anyone selling AFCON 2027 tickets is not an official seller.
AFCON 2027 runs from 19 June to 17 July 2027 in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, the first Africa Cup of Nations co-hosted by three countries. There will be 24 teams and 52 matches. This page tracks everything confirmed about tickets so far, and we update it as soon as CAF announces anything new.

When will AFCON 2027 tickets go on sale?
CAF has not given a date yet. Tickets usually go on sale once the final draw has been made and fans know where and when their team plays. AFCON 2027 qualifying ends in March 2027, so the 24 teams won’t all be known until then.
The two-ticket limit
Local Organising Committee chairman Nicholas Musonye has said the new ticketing portal will make it “very difficult for you to buy more than two tickets”, enough for the buyer and one family member. The aim is to stop touts buying tickets in bulk and reselling them at higher prices, which happened during CHAN 2024, also co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
The portal is expected to include identity checks and multi-factor login. Full rules have not been published. For example, it isn’t clear yet whether the limit applies per match or across the whole tournament. Read the full story.
How much will AFCON 2027 tickets cost?
Official prices have not been announced. AFCON tickets have traditionally been among the cheapest of any major international tournament, with group-stage seats much cheaper than knockout games and the final. We’ll publish the official price list as soon as CAF releases it. See our AFCON 2027 ticket prices page for updates.
How to buy AFCON 2027 tickets (when sales open)
- Use only the official channel announced by CAF or the Local Organising Committees.
- Create your account early with your own name and ID or passport details. Tickets are expected to be linked to the buyer’s identity.
- Each adult buys their own tickets. With a limit of about two per buyer, groups should plan who buys for whom.
- Book travel once your match is confirmed. Finals fixtures won’t be known until after the draw.

Which matches will be hardest to get?
Once the draw is made, expect the highest demand for:
- The opening match on 19 June 2027
- Every game played by the three co-hosts: Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda
- Teams with big travelling support, such as Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco and South Africa, if they qualify
- The semi-finals and the final on Saturday 17 July 2027
How to avoid ticket scams
- No official tickets are on sale yet. Anyone selling them today is not an official seller.
- Never buy through WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok sellers, or pay by mobile money to a private number.
- Be careful with resale websites listing AFCON 2027 tickets before sales open. A ticket in someone else’s name may not get you in if IDs are checked.
- Check the website address carefully. Scam sites often copy official logos.
